DRIME’s effective street ministry; the life-changing power of Jesus

If Jesus Christ is the lifeblood of Power to Change, our ministries are the heartbeat. Every two weeks we’ll be checking their pulse, sharing blog posts, stories and events from our 10 ministries and humanitarian partner. This is P2C Pulse.

DRIME

DRIME

Sheldon, a volunteer with DRIME Vancouver, shares why street ministry can be really effective: “It may seem counterintuitive trying to have deep conversations with people that you’ve just met, but in some ways people find it easier to be honest with people that they have no history or baggage with.” [DRIME]

Read more of Sheldon’s story and how doing street ministry with DRIME has “drawn [him] deeper into reliance on God.” [DRIME]

FamilyLife

FamilyLifeA major challenge for parents today is how to deal with social media. Author Shaunti Feldhahn points out that teens have no frame of reference for life without social media: it’s far better to engage with kids about how they use social media than to show constant disapproval of how much time they spend in that world.[FamilyLife]
